Llama Fest

We heart llamas.  Aren't they adorable!?

When we first arrived at the festival we spent some time in the temple listening to music and stories.  We really enjoyed the beauty and strong sense of community and it was fun for S to hear stories about Rama and Krishna since his dad has read him quite a few already.

My niece is visiting and her hair is amazing.  I just did a french braid wrapped around her head and it brought back memories of when I used to do her mom's hair.  Love.

Reggie Littlejohn, My New Hero

As I was driving to pick S up from school I was listening to NPR.  Reggie Littlejohn, the president of Women's Rights Without Frontiers was being interviewed about the still current situation in China regarding forced abortions.  She is a powerful voice for women and for humanity.  Please click here to sign a petition to stop forced abortions in China.  There is a 4 minute video that breaks my heart.
