In Honor of Women's Day

We have much to celebrate and remember today but we also have much to do as women to help other women around the world.

Here is a link to an article in the Huffington Post that brings me to tears. It's written by Ashley Judd who is now serving on the board of directors for the Global Health Organization.

I was just thinking about you today, wondering how you were doing. I hope things are going well for you and your family.

I was also thinking about how much I like the way they celebrate Women's Day in Italy, giving those cute bouquets of that particular type of flower... do you remember what they were called?

Happy Women's day to you! :)

I loved this article too. Thank you for sharing it. Have you heard of the book "Half the Sky"? It is a lot like this article only A LOT harder to read. It really opened my eyes and I completely broke down at the end. If you're into this type of awareness, its an enlightening read.
